Once you have at least two icons in your diagram, you will be able to create a connection between them.
Start by clicking the Ports button in the top right of the diagram.
You will see that the icons change to show the ports that they have available.
Click and drag from one port to create a connection to another port.
Notice that while you are dragging to make a connection, D3M will only allow you to connect to other ports that are compatible with the port you started from. For example, you cannot make a connection between an IP port and a RADIO port.
