When you have a connection that isn't quite going where you'd like, click the connection to select it and see the tools that are available to you.

Adjust existing connection segments

After selecting a connection, you can click and drag any segment of the connection to adjust how it is positioned. It couldn't be easier!

Add an elbow

If you need to add a segment in the middle of a connection, just click and drag from the middle of one of the connection's handles.

Remove and elbow

If you need to remove a segment, you can grab a connection at one of its corners and line up the segments to create a straight line.

Reposition Text

If you need to reposition the text on a link, you can simply click and drag the text to anywhere you'd like. You can also toggle the text to be visible or not.

Align connections to grid

Finally, if you want D3M to help you align connections, just turn on the grid!

Remember, you can always reach out via chat to get help, search our help articles if you want to figure things out yourself, or book a live training session for you or your team to get up to speed with D3M as quickly as possible.
