Use project notes and comments to record generic information about a project or make timestamped notes.

You can access project notes and comments by clicking the book in the top bar when in a project.

Project Notes

Project notes can be used to store any information that is relevant to the project. You can format project notes using Markdown formatting. You can see our formatting guide here: 

Project Comments

If you have information that you want to be timestamped, we recommend using project comments to record that information. For example, if you want to record some information from a meeting, an installation, or inspection, reach for project comments to timestamp that information and give you more context.

Comments support all the same formatting options as project notes.
